While other things are happening, Kyoko and Haru are still a bit worried about Chrome as they go toward the middle school. They meet Lambo and I-pin, who come along.
Hibari watches as Skull’s airship makes a slow crashing descent. So are the others. Even worse, there are still plenty of students on the premises. Reborn advises the inner circle to help evacuate the students and leave Hibari to Ryohei. They obey.
Hibari brings out a barrage of spiked box weapons at the airship, but they do nothing. Inside the airship Skull regains consciousness. Yamamoto is having trouble convincing his teammates to move out; the baseball club thinks the airship it’s just a movie prop.
The girls and kids also arrive and watch the airship go down. Lambo is happy and charges INTO the school, followed by I-pin and the girls!
Meanwhile Skull is not letting up. Ryohei and Hibari double-team to face the cannon shots. Ryohei flies up to the airship and punches it with Maximum Ingram.
Skull makes a quick escape as the airship explodes under the force of Maximum Ingram.
Skull brings up his escape pod to the assembled group, whining about his defeat, and, according to the Arcobaleno, completely forgetting what he was supposed to do. But Reborn just intends to watch.
The escape pod still has slots for bullets, though, and the inner-circle boys arrive in time to see that. The girls are also in time to see Ryohei fight those bullets. But the bullets ricochet toward Ryohei’s sister and the other kids!
Roll’s owner is royally pissed and heads toward Skull for the kill, jumping on all the spikes in the air. The escape pod is decimated and Skull is thrown out.
Ryohei and the other boys check up on the girls, and find that Hibari followed them. Ryohei extremely tells Hibari they will now fight it out to convince Hibari to take the test. But Hibari says quietly that it would not be necessary. He does not like leaving debts unpaid. For the rest of us, Tsuna explains the statement: since Ryohei helped save the school, Hibari will now return the favor and comply with what Ryohei was asking him to do, that is, take the inheritance test.
What test, though? Gokudera correctly asks. The test was left up to Hibari to decide.
A ring flame appears before, but it’s for the Sun ring, not the Cloud ring. Knuckle appears before them, and declares Ryohei worthy of the Sun ring. Knuckle was shown the events. Ryohei displayed extreme optimism and did not back down while persuading Hibari. He also withstood any adversity while protecting his friends. He is a bright and shining sun that smashes adversity with his body.
Alaudi arrives next, beside Knuckle. (And I-pin spends a few moments not knowing what to do with Fon, Hibari, and Alaudi all in one place and all looking like each other!) Hibari was able to guard the family independently, refraining from fraternizing with the family while judging the situation and protecting the family his own way. He too is allowed to pass his inheritance test.
But Hibari brings out his tonfa and still asks for a fight from Alaudi. As the boys calm him down again, Knuckle smiles at Alaudi, saying Alaudi was exactly like that too. In any case, sun and cloud flames are infused into their respective boxes, as the Primo guardians disappear.
Since everything is done now, Hibari walks away as usual. Some things will never change.
Moving on to other concerns, the girls tell Tsuna that Chrome isn’t at the Kokuyo base, and they have Ken and Chikusa to back them up on that.
At Kokuyo Health Land, Chrome finally shows up before Ken and Chikusa, but she is holding back tears, finally failing and breaking down in front of them. Whatever it is, she could not take it anymore.
The inner circle boys plan to go to Kokuyo Land the next day to check up on Chrome, as the Fon, Colonello, and Reborn look on warmly. Fon says they act like a good family already. Reborn says he still worries about them at times. But they all worry about what Mammon is doing. But Mammon cannot run from the Arcobaleno fate, and should eventually be showing.
On the roof of an opposite house Daemon Spade watches them. He notes that Vongola Decimo is currently unfit to unite the Vongola family…just in the same way Vongola Primo was unfit.
– Sorry about the rather sketchy descriptions without the dialogues. I just didn’t seem them as important enough to be copying over.
– Viper definitely has some explaining to do, leaving Chrome to cry like that.
– Creepy how Mukuro-ish Spade is acting at the moment, and I guess that’s the point.
– BTW Reborn used “aitsu” as the pronoun for Viper, and this is a neutral pronoun (neither masculine nor feminine, more accurately translated ‘that person’), the one always used for Viper.
